Pumpkin Farms

Pumpkins at the farmImage via Wikipedia
Now that October is official here, it's time to get ready for another holiday...HALLOWEEN! Kids love to dressing up, eating candy, decorating and yes...carving pumpkins.

Pumpkin farms offer free activities, allowing your family to spend a day that is sure to remember on a budget that won't break the bank.  Make the pumpkin farm a day everyone can enjoy.  Most offer arts and crafts to make and buy, which will provide life long memories to pass down from generation to generation.  Create a tradition the whole family will enjoy and remember.

The place to be inspired this season is your area pumpkin/apple farms. They offer a variety of activities which include pumpkin patches, mazes, hay rides and snacks and refreshments.  After a long day at the pumpkin farm, pull out your pizza coupons and enjoy a dinner in.  Make a mess, have fun and create years of wonderful memories.

Remember, the inside of the pumpkin doesn't have to go straight into the garbage.  Clean the seeds, bake em, and create a delicious snack:  PUMPKIN SEEDS.  Add a bit of salt for taste and presto.  If you dislike pumpkin seeds, you can always use them for decoration, or feeding our furry friends outside.

I pulled a list of pumpkin farms in Northwest Ohio.  I found a coupon for one, but i'm sure with some digging, you'll be able to find a couple more.
